After months of unforgiving heat, we were gifted the first breezy evening of the season and it just so perfectly landed on the day of Kayla and Shock’s engagement session. We arrive at Rollins College (anyone who has been there, knows how beautiful it is!) and Kayla pops out of the car in a STUNNING red outfit looking like the most gorgeous model we’ve ever seen! Then, out steps her hubby-to-be looking like a million bucks in his suit paired with the most luxurious watch. Well, you already know I was taken over with excitement! These two are going to look SO amazing in their photos!!

I had been talking to Kayla for awhile, planning this engagement session, but this was the first time I was getting to meet her and Shock in person! From their magnetic personalities to their perfect laughs, these two were beyond incredible. They have so much love for each other and you can really tell that they are truly best friends. My face ACTUALLY hurt when I left the session from how much I was smiling and laughing just watching these two interact with one another!

They told me all about the beautiful wedding that they are planning in Miami, and I could see the excitement in their eyes as they spoke about it. Getting to take their engagement photos and seeing that look on their face as they celebrate not only their upcoming wedding, but mostly importantly their love for one another, was extremely special. These two are such a kind, loving couple and I am so grateful that I am the lucky photographer who got to be there to celebrate with them!

Can I just start off by saying how incredibly honored I feel that you asked me to take these photos for you?! I could tell over emails that you all were amazing, but seeing you two in person just enjoying one another was beyond wonderful! You came into this engagement session with the perfect attitudes; just the right amount of laid-back and ready to nail these photos! I love that just from spending a couple hours with you, I could immediately tell that you two are always up for a good time and care deeply for one another. I cannot tell you what a joy it was to spend the evening with you all and get to capture this beautiful time in your lives! Cannot wait to get you the full gallery, because you all are going to LOVE them!!
