“Now run to 1st base!!”
Being a portrait photographer, this is not a phrase I typically hear during one of my sessions, but things were a little bit different this past Sunday! When Jen reached out to me to take photos of her family she brought up the unique idea of heading to a baseball field and letting her son, Nicholas, play ball! How amazing is that idea?! And let me tell you, I was not the only fan of Jen’s vision lol Nicholas was LOVING every minute of it!!
One of the reasons Nick and Jen wanted to have family portraits done, was because Nicholas had just turned two! We took some beautiful, more traditional photos at The Dunedin Marina in the downtown area before hitting the fields. Once we got there and Nicholas saw where we were, his eyes completely lit up! Boy does that little guy have a love for sports! It’s incredible to see not only how naturally talented he is, but to see the passion just bursting out of his adorable little body as he picks up a bat to take a swing! This was one of the most joyful sessions I have ever been a part of and I am so happy I was there to preserve those joy-filled moments on camera for this wonderful family.
Jen and Nick,
Thank you so much for asking me to take these photos for you! You are both such amazing parents, Nicholas is growing into such a wonderful person already! It’s very easy to see that he is a special young man and is going to do spectacular things in the future! I loved taking your portraits, but getting in the action of the game was just such fun for Kiley and I!! Seeing the three of you together just having a blast and enjoying each other is really what it’s all about, and I love knowing that you will have those memories to look back on and share forever. Can’t wait to see you all again soon!
