There was a very important lesson learned on this day; taking photos while crying is NOT an easy task!! Now these were only happy tears, of course!

“You’re about to get engaged!!!”

There they are. Two of my favorite people in the world, standing right in front of me and my camera. I’m trying to sound normal as I pose them for the upcoming photo. Erich needs a moment to get the engagement ring out and ready, so I have to stall. I look at Chelsey and calmly say, “Right there! You both look perfect! Chels, I’m just going to bring your hair forward, but stay still cause you’re in the perfect spot!” I walk up to her and slowly adjust her hair when all I wanted to do was run up to her and scream, “You’re about to get engaged!!!” and give her biggest hug in the world. Luckily, I refrain (I’m not sure Erich would ever forgive me if I hadn’t LOL) and I walk back to my spot. Erich is set, the ring is out, and h e r e . w e . G O ! 

When Erich asked that I take photos of such a major moment for them, I was beyond excited! All of Chelsey’s family was in on it and we took photos of the family beforehand so that nothing would seem suspicious.
Everything about this day was perfect; spending time with this amazing family and seeing such wonderful friends commit to spending the rest of their lives together. I am so so so happy for these two!

A HUGE congratulations to both of you! Seeing you two get engaged really did touch my heart because every one who knows you, knows that you could not be any more perfect for one another! I know that there are going to be so many exciting moments in the upcoming year before your wedding and I cannot wait to celebrate each and every one of them with you both.
